I had a hamster that had 10 babies. Everything went fine until it was going into the 3 week. There was baby that was sick and died. I look in the cage searching for that dead baby and i found left over of 2 eaten babies and the sick hamster which died. So then there was only 7 babies left. I seperated the mom from the cage because i thought she was eating the babies. But the next day another baby was eaten then 2 days later another baby was eaten. Now im down with 5 baby hamsters. Why are they eating eachother??? Help me quick before its to late!!!

I haven't heard of that happening too often to be honest - any idea of which hamster is doing it? What kinds of hamsters are they?

Short of putting them all in their own cages (which isn't very practical) I'd say the best thing you can do right now is try to figure out who the aggressive one is, and put that one in its own cage.

Anyone else have any ideas?
