I Had A Hamster Just Before Christmas And Recently She Has Been Pulling The Cotton Wool Out Of Her Little House And Stuffing It In A Corner . . . Is It Normal Or Is There Something Wrong? . . . Does This Mean That She's Having Pups? . . . X

do not use cotton as a nesting material. It can form strands that can wrap around the hamster’s limbs and actually cut off the blood supply.Shredded tissue paper or paper towel will do nicely. :)

How long have you had her? 3 weeks after she mated, if she got pregnat, she will have a litter. If you have had her for even 22 or 23 days, I dought that she is having a litter. When I had my two Winter White dwar hamsters, they would make a nest ALL day in their CAREFRESH bedding. But, even though they were 5/6 months old, they wre NOT pregnat.

P.S. I got them at PetSmart and they were SOOOOOOOO SWEET!!!
