my hamster gave birth at the tube. 6 babies she ate 4 and i seperated the 2 babies. when i tried to put the mother to the baby she ate the other one i only have 1 what will i do? why did the mother ate her babies?

did you ever touch or put your hands around the babies? if you did that would explain why, if you didnt then the babies could of had something wrong with them. my hamster had babies and i put my hand in the cage to look at her and her babies...she ate like 3/8 of them :sigh
