I am an asipiring hamster owner. I've been researching hamsters thoroughly so I can make sure I am willing and able to give the care a hamster will need. I have been unable to find a hamster food dish at my local store that was big enough for a hamster to sit in (as I've read some like to do)and heavy enough to be safe form tipping over. However, today at my local store I saw a ceramic cat dish with low sides that was too heavy for a hamster to tip, and I was wondering if it would be ok to use that, or if there could be some kind of danger I'm unaware of.
