Please don't use harsh chemicals like Lysol on your hammie's cage. Harsh cleaners leave a chemical trail that is very dangerous to pets. Instead use a mixture of water and baking soda. Fill an empty spray bottle with water almost to the top. Put about 1/4 cup or less of baking soda into bottle. Shake/mix until baking soda is completely dissolved. Take apart each section of the cage and place in bathtub. Spray areas thoroughly, wipe with cloth then rinse well. After drying, put the pieces all together and set the cage back up. Replace litter, food, water, etc, then introduce your happy hammie! ;)

The thing to use to clean your hamsters cage is soap and water to make sure you get your hamsters cage all cleaned up for it because if I were you I wouldn't spray lisol just to make it's cage smell good because it would still be living in thilf and I would not wan't that so you should clean your hamsters cage out with soap and water in less you want your hamster to live in a dirty cage. ;)
