If your hamster doesn't look sick it could just be that he's taking a little longer to get used to his new surroundings. I'd keep a close eye on him though, and if he doesn't look like he's eating or there are any other signs he may not be well then it'll be time to take him to a vet.    As for the clorox wipes, I've never used them so I don't know how strong smelling they are. They have sensitive noses, so if you smell it and think it's pretty strong then it'll be very strong for them! If it's only got a mild odor then it should be okay.
