I have question about dwarf hamster. I'm new to dwarf hamster and don't know anything about them. I notice three spots he lost hair. I don't know if that means he is old or type sickness. can anyone tell me if I need call vet or not or tell me if its normal or not? please email me at skiheart@aol.com. I only have him 2 years.

i think this means your hamster might have mange.So you should go to the vet and they will give you some madicine.But before you buy the madicine make sure it is mange

it may be the litter!I recently had this problem and canged my litter to yesturdays news try it and tell me how it goes. It will take your baby a little time to recover so be patient it will grown back.

It is just a stage. Give him or her yeast tablets in his food or from the pet store you can buy vitamin drops, both will aid his fur loss. ( mine is going through the exact same thing, I didnt even give him either one and it is already growing back) GOOD LUCK :zzz
