i just recently got a hamster for a early birthday present, not knowing which type it is:?. the guy at the pet store said it was a roborovskii,(but they only get to 2 inches full grown while mine is 5 weeks old and is 3 inches long) while my mom says it is a russian dwarf but not looking anything like a ruusian dwarf. my haster looks exactly like the one in the pic up top ecept with a long tail...HELP!!:upset  
 
ps. ill soon be able to get a pic or two soon(hopefully)
