Hi Kim. Are they Syrian hamsters? If so, they may get along okay now but most likely will eventually start fighting each other. If they are dwarf hamsters they can stay together as long as they don't start fighting - keep an eye on them and watch for signs of aggression. Good luck!

Are they both the same sex? If not then they may get along too well, if you know what I mean :)

As for them not fighting yet, all hamsters are different but I'd be quite surprised if they didn't start fighting each other before too long. You can keep them together for the time being if you wish, but keep a very close eye on them. The safest route for both would be to separate them, which I think you'll have to do eventually anyway, but if you want to keep them together for now you'll have to be ready to separate them very quickly if and when (more likely) the battles begin!
